Kelvatek have been awarded the Queens Award for Enterprise, for the BIDOYNG Smart Fuse. The Queens Award for Enterprise is an awards programme for British businesses and other organisations, who excel at international trade, innovation, or sustainable development. It is the highest official UK award for British businesses.

Electricity North West Limited partnered with Kelvatek Limited in the development of the BIDOYNG. Through an OFGEM Innovation Funding Incentive (IFI) project ENWL provided financial and directional assistance for the project. In addition, and more importantly, ENWL provided expertise domain knowledge, combined with the necessary preparation to allow the innovation to enter into Business as Usual practice, not only with ENWL, but also across all the UK Distribution Network Operators. (DNO’s).
