Peter Cunningham presenting at LCNI

KELVATEK’s Managing Director presents the importance of Network flexibility at LCNI 2017

In-between various industry presentations and workshops, the company staffed a large booth and our 40ft SAPIENT truck on site. Both areas showcased a range of Asset Management, LV Fault Location, Network Automation and Transformer Monitoring equipment.

KELVATEK selected LCNI as the main platform to launch SNOOPi the industry’s most innovative Fault Gas Detector. Combining Multi Gas discrimination with a direct link to SAPIENT it allows engineers to accurately pinpoint faults and record the results.

In support of the ENA (Energy Networks Association) KELVATEK sponsored the Gala dinner attended by more than 500 industry specialists and one ex Strictly/ex Minister Ed Balls as the evenings speaker.

KELVATEK’s Managing Director Peter Cunningham made a brief presentation before the dinner on how innovation and flexibility in the Network is going to play an important role in the transition from DNO to DSO as the network market changes. A fitting topic for the theme of this year’s LCNI conference and reflective of Jonathan Brearley from OFGEM’s opening note speech on the first day.

KELVATEK would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who visited our booth and ENA for another successful conference.
